Ditch the New York coverlets, 20th century surplus blankets, and other weirdo blankets that get used at events and have what most Confederate soldiers did—a government-issued imported blanket. These will be made by Family Heirloom Weavers and copied right from an original issued to a soldier in Longstreet's command sometime in 1862.  They will be the closet match to the original in size, weight, and color yet made. As a typical imported wool blanket, it is not only a great option for this event, but is the most versatile Confederate blanket you can own and works for events early and late, East and West.
