Most reproduction carbine cartridge boxes features super late war features that would not have been seen in the field throughout most of the war--that riveted latch tab with half round stitching included.  This reproduction made by Robert Saye is coped from a wartime Gaylord contract box with the earlier straight stitching on the latch tab, among other "early" features.  The boxes will come complete with a drilled wooden insert.
