Widely used in all theaters of the war, particuarly in the West, the halter-bridle was a leather-saving combination of a halter and a bridle.  These reproductions, made by Merrick's Custom Leather, will come with an eye spliced rope hitching strap and are ready to buckle your bit onto.  As an add-on option, a plain forged bit with webbing reins and a curb strap can be included.
